DORSAL UNIT FOR AWACS

Overview:

Kineco was awarded a prestigious project from LRDE (Electronics & Radar Development Establishment) for the development of Composite 10mt DOU (Dorsal Unit) for AeWACS platform.

Kineco had initially developed & qualified a subscale 2mt Dorsal Unit. The 10mt DOU contract was a result of this success.

The Scope of work included Design, Development (Tools), Production & Inspection including NDT.

Kineco developed all the Tools, Jigs & Fixtures to realize the product. A dedicated team from Kineco & LRDE were assigned for this project.

It was a prestigious moment for Kineco when the DOU was displayed at the 26 JAN 2010 Republic day Parade.
